Noteworthy

Filler

Just found out The Tallest Man On Earth is going to be playing at the Fillmore in two weeks. Maybe I can count my pennies and get a ticket! I have to say that the music scene is definitely one of the many perks of living in SF. I'm currently looking for a new place to live (as well as a job!) and it's been tough. I really like my current neighborhood and will be sad to leave it, but nothing in my price range seems to be available. When are all my out of town friends going to come and visit, hhmm?

Muir Beach

Took a trip to Muir Beach (outside of SF) where we were hoping to catch some warmth and sunshine, but instead it happened to be the same weather as SF(cold!). We hung out for a bit and then drove to San Rafael for some good food at Sol Food.

Sunny (sweaty) days

Today was probably the hottest day of the century in San Francisco (it's almost midnight and it's still hot). Reaching a high of 96 degrees, it was almost too much to handle. The beach in the outer richmond was packed with people, a very unusual occurrence. Nevertheless, I had a lovely afternoon and evening. I love San Francisco.

Everyday Scenes of a Not So Every Day

Most of my roomies and I decided to play hookey from work today because we had such a "fun" night celebrating Theresa's 26th Birthday the night before. We definitely got lucky when the sun decided to show it's face. Our most eventful point of our day was taking a stroll mid afternoon to grab a bite to eat.

Outside Lands

This past weekend was Outside Lands in San Francisco- and it was Carazy! So many people. Some of the artists in the lineup were: The Temper Trap, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Phoenix, Al Green, Chromeo, Kings of Leon, Empire of the Sun, Amos Lee, and many many more. Found these on youtube, but here are a few of my favorite bands.

It's Tuesday

This blog post is dedicated to Sheena, because she's been hassling me to update :)
It's been too gloomy and cold to do photo shoot sessions outside, but here's a photo of how me and 2 of my roomies get to business. We work best while drinking wine. Wow, this photo makes us look like alkies doesn't it? ...In fun news, looking forward to Outside Lands Festival this weekend- most excited to see The Temper Trap and Phoenix.

Life

Sometimes life throws you curve balls and you just have to roll with them, right? Take for example, going out with your friends and suddenly getting your wallet and iphone stolen. All I can do is keep a positive attitude, and that it (along with other things currently going on) will all work out in the end.
Peace

Out my window

Dear San Francisco,
You're great and everything but it's August. This whole gloom/wind thing you've got going on needs to stop. Please bring some sun and warmth soon.
Sincerely,
Shivering Californian
