Stellenbosch: The Winelands of the Cape Land area...

I got a chance to visit Stellenbosch over the weekend and while it was quite an adventure to get there (train took the wrong train tracks, were stuck for a while, reversed its way to the correct route--and an hour and a half later we were there) we arrived a bit late so we only got to do a little tasting and have a good lunch. We had a driver take us to each estate since they were far from one another. There was a dog named Hippo who apparently needs to stop eating--but would sit up and look so cute as to make you want to feed him. Obviously he's succeeded in this skill considering his physical shape. It was a good experience but incredibly windy which made sitting outside rather cold.
